They're Coming Back 

 

Alien expressionism, misinterpreted religions and ancient human history. These are some of the area's i was exploring when starting my research on this project: giving my take on the controversial subject 'Are we being visited by aliens?'. Today there are designers and drag artists creating alien inspired looks/pieces constantly, and this was my start. As well as modern artists like Salvia and Fecal Matter, i was exploring traditional designers like Balenciaga who were considered alien for their time and even now. 

It seemed aside from continuous modern E-T accounts - the more puzzling and irrefutable evidence lies within ancient human history. Looking into some of the oldest civilisations on record, what i found was a collective acceptance of astrology from cultures that could never have come into contact. These old societies were living in what we now call the 'Gold Yuga' which is supposedly the peak of humanity's success spiritually and physically. Out of the little information we have on ancient astrology, past philosophers are indicating that we are re-entering this Gold Yuga for the first time in 70,000 years. The majority of these civilisations understood laws of physics and makings of the universe, to me indicating a fatal misinformation in human history.

With this information in mind we realise the endless possibilities of extraterrestrial input on our world or even the possibility that our history is much longer than we thought to obtain this knowledge. Either way we have been left in darkness and fear, and this victim of higher beings was the soul of my project aesthetic.
